call-to-action with specific incentive
interesting headline choice, but do people go to wikipedia to search how to have free time?
What Wikipedia can't tell you about actually having free time.
Every waking moment of my day used to be productive.
I had to be learning, being productive, or making something creative AT ALL TIMES.
But here's the thing...
I never allowed myself free time. REAL free time. To just create for the sake of creating.
And so I had to switch my strategy.
Now I schedule in time to do NOTHING
or do the simple things that I can enjoy - but without a specific outcome.
It allows me to process all the thoughts I have going on in my head
Now I actually have the time...
To slow down, enjoy my process of creating, enjoy making food + eating it
To meditate/do yoga/workout, silence the chaos
Time to take care of my body - (right now I'm even doing a wellness challenge with the most incredible personal trainers at @A.Live)
In all honestly, prioritizing yourself is really just learning to control.
we see the value here, but it doesn't put the audience in the hot seat
call-to-action should be at the end
The Controlling Idea: You need to prioritize yourself and downtime to achieve your goals & avoid burnout
Open Story Loop: do you know how you're always working and not getting anything done?
Destabilized World: burn out, stress, anxiety, self-doubt, mindset issues, guilt
Stabilized World: to slow down, enjoy the process of creating, making food + eating it, meditating, etc.
Closed Story Loop: prioritizing yourself (i.e. your work will be focused, you'll be balanced, your work will flourish)
Call to Action: comment below (& drive a convo in the DMs)
instantly opened the story loop
Do you ever feel like you're always working and nothing gets done?
Like you're running around like a chicken with its head cut off.
Maybe you're one of those go-getters who tries to squeeze every waking minute with something productive, like:
Keeping busy with work
Learning something new
Creating new art
Taking care of chores
Here's the truth my friend...
You can download a million task management apps, chase after the best productivity strategies, bullet journal till your pen is out of ink, but if you're not prioritizing yourself - you'll always be in the losing game feeling burnt out and like you're always chasing your tail.
Your body is not a machine, so why are you treating it like one?
The secret bullet to getting more done and in less time is by scheduling time to do nothing or the things that allows you to explore your inner child, like; painting, dancing or whatever you wanna do.
And I get it, maybe you're feeling "well there's too much to be done, I don't have the luxury to lounge around!".
If this sounds like you, then comment below. I'll pop up in your DMs to have a convo about how you can realistically prioritize yourself without sacrificing your workload.
